This course provides an extensive overview of the use of electric files in salons. This course discusses the various types of electric files and also covers the use, sanitation, disinfection, features, benefits, and bit selection for electric files. Also covered during this course, are the proper usage techniques and the proper problem solving techniques to apply when using an electric file.
Cosmetologist and Esthetician licensees shall expire September 30 of each odd numbered year. Nail technicians shall expire October 31st of each even numbered year. A pre-renewal period is the 24 month period proceeding September 30th in the year of renewal. Cosmetologist-Certify on the renewal application to successful completion of a minimum of 14 hours of continuing education and nail technicians a minimum of 10 hours of continuing education from a cosmetology sponsor registered with the Division, in accordance with Section 1175.1200 of this Part, within the 2 years prior to the expiration date of the license. One half of the required continuing education hours can be acquired via online or correspondence.
