The renewal of certain licenses requires proof that continuing education requirements have been met.

Cosmetologists, Nail Technicians and Estheticians must complete six (6) hours annually. Instructors must complete eight (8) hours annually (in addition to the 6 hours required for their cosmetology license for a total of 14 hours)

There are no continuing education requirements for Apprentice Cosmetologist or Apprentice Instructors.
